We sometimes forget how spoiled we are to live where we are. It occasionally takes moments like Denise & Greg's stunning Moraine Lake elopement to make you remember just how breathtaking it is in our own backyard! There is just something so romantic about elopements and the thought of sharing vows surrounded by nature in a private sentimental ceremony.

When Denise and Greg wrote us to ask us to photograph their destination elopement we were thrilled. They decided to travel from their home in Chicago to get married at incredible Moraine Lake. For those of you that don't know much about Moraine Lake, it is a place to that you should visit. There is the Valley of the Ten Peaks with stunning views and a beautiful colored lake. Its a beautiful spot to get married.

We knew they were perfect together right from the start when we asked them to tell us about themselves, they each sent us a separate email talking a little about themselves, but more about how they met, and how much they care for each other.

Denise and Greg were driven together by Highland VIP in a 1952 Bentley and met us in the parking lot of Moraine Lake.  They were married by Barbara Parker, Celebrant who put a whole new spin on a ceremony with some beautiful personal touches, incredible poetry and a few location changes to give them the full experience of being married in the mountains.

Their ceremony was perfect and private just the way they wanted. And we were so honored that they asked us to be their witnesses for their wedding day, its not often that we get to take part in the ceremony.

We feel so fortunate to be able to meet such wonderful people, on some incredible life journeys and we are so delighted with the opportunity to have met Denise and Greg and wish them all the best in their marriage.
