Tara & Kyle's Wedding - Red Cliffs Lodge - Moab, Utah - Walker Photography

When Tara and Kyle invited us to come down to Moab Utah for their wedding, we immediately knew the answer was a enormous YES. We were so excited to visit the red rock arches and towering cliffs in Utah. The dramatic colors, textures, scenic views, and breathtaking landscapes in Moab are unlike any other we have seen and an unbelievable way to spend our first ever destination wedding!

Moab stole Tara and Kyle's hearts years ago when they started taking their jeeps to the red rocks for some incredible off-roading experiences. So they decided that it was the perfect spot to tie the knot. They traveled to Moab from Cochrane, Alberta with their closest friends, family and how can we forget their fur baby Winston.

We celebrated their wedding at the Red Cliffs Lodge, a beautiful lodge  surrounded by 2000 feet of rock cliffs and on the banks of the Colorado River. It was a scorcher of a day for their wedding, sitting at 110°F (which is a lot for us Canadians when our summers in Calgary don't usually pass 95°F) While the girls spent the morning getting pampered by Signature Brides; they guys spent the morning out for breakfast, tending to little Mr. Winston who had been bitten by ants, and a quick dip in the pool to cool down. Their ceremony took place outside overlooking the river and cliffs, it was the perfect backdrop for the two of them to say I-DO while being married by one of their closest friends.

We were completely wowed by Moab and fell in love with the contagious sense of adventure that Tara and Kyle have. Plus, it’s a photographer’s dream!! Although the 44°C weather made for one of the most physically demanding weddings we have ever shot, the acceptance, love and intimacy at their wedding made it also one of the most memorable!

We can't thank Tara and Kyle for taking us on with you for your destination wedding to Moab. Your wedding is one that we will never forget!
