Tessa & Jack's Wedding - Calgary Alberta - Walker Photography

Tessa and Jack's wedding was 11 years in the making, but they say good things come to those who wait.

Their day started with the girls getting ready a beautiful hotel in south Calgary. While the guys got ready at Tessa and Jack's country house. We always love to see the difference between the chaotic fun of the girls getting ready, and the wild and crazy things that guys do to kill time while they wait for the girls to get ready. Jack and his groomsmen were no exception, playing an interesting drinking game with their new axes from Jack.

After everyone was ready, Tessa and Jack decided to have a first look before their ceremony. The first look was held in the hotel lobby down a beautiful glass wall. Their first look was so beautiful because their wedding party took part in seeing them for the first time. There were so many beautiful tears from Tessa's mom as they saw each other for the first time.

We then ventured to Fish Creek park to take all of their pictures prior to the ceremony. Fish creek park is one of our favorite locations because of the amount of different backdrops you can use while there. Did we mention that their wedding party was so much fun and kept the wonderful spirit of the day going. We love when they are all so full of character and laughter.

The rest of the day was held at Tessa and Jack's beautiful acreage in the country. They were married by Jerry Stilson, and we love to be part of his ceremonies because he spends so much time making them personal and just about the couple (we are probably also bias because he married us 8 years ago). We knew their day was going to be good when Jack's vows started with "Can I tell my friends you're my girlfriend now?" It was an absolutely EPIC day full of tears, laughter, icing and a little bit of The Princess Bride!
