Wedding days don't always go as planned. Sometimes it snows (alot) in September when you are least expecting it to. Amanda and Ryan had planned to have an outdoor ceremony at Quarry Lake Park, but while they were getting ready it started to snow. And not just a little bit of snow, a complete white out and the temperature drastically dropped as well. They had to make the tough decision that morning to move their ceremony inside their reception venue, but when you go with the flow of the day , that's when the magic happens.
Amanda and Ryan's wedding ceremony was held inside the Cornerstone Theatre and the low light mixed with candles all around created a romantic mood for their ceremony. By the time the ceremony was over, the snow had stopped and mostly melted away so we were able to take them outside to explore Canmore for their pictures.
Their reception was also held at the Cornerstone Theatre where decor and giant MR & MRS signs made the room glow . Their M.C. Shane was like listening to a stand up comedian, he was funny and clever and really knew how to make Amanda, Ryan and the guests laugh.
Once the speeches were over it was time to cut a rug, their dance party was the kind of party where everyone ends up barefoot, sweaty and with laryngitis from singing along too loudly. During the dance, we managed to sneak the two newly weds away for some romantic night time photos in the mountains, under the stars.
Amanda and Ryan's Canmore wedding was one we will never forget!
