Justin & Dana's Wedding - River Cafe - Calgary, AB - Walker Photography

We always feel as though we become part of our couples extended families, especially when we get to celebrate with the same family more than once! We met Justin & Dana when we photographed Justin's sisters wedding last year, so when they contacted us to photograph their wedding we were so thrilled.

Dana had a perfect idea in mind for her wedding, she wanted it to be intimate, and low key with lots of time of visit with her closest family and friends. She chose to get ready at her moms house and the sun room was the perfect sunny and warm spot to get ready a on a chilly fall morning. Dana has a contagious laugh that filled the air while she had her hair and makeup done by Sam with House of Beauty .

The guys always have extra time in the mornings to hang out while the girls get ready and it is always so neat to see how each of them chooses to spend their time. Justin decided to spend his morning going out for brunch with all of the guys. and showing off his truck to his nephew.

Dana and Justin's wedding ceremony and reception were held at the River Cafe.  They were married by Jeremy Duncan who put a whole new spin on what we usually see for wedding ceremonies. He was poetic and spoke so beautifully, we could have listened to what he was saying for hours.

Their reception was followed to a champagne toast and family pictures on the lawns around Princess Island Park. Their reception was beautifully intimate, with a few speeches, lots of mingling and tons of laughter. Did we mention that we also got to sneak them away for a few night time pictures (this is always our favorite thing to do in the evenings )

We love weddings that are full of love, laughter and not to mention perfectly spectacular fall colors!
