There’s something to be said about a wedding like Mallory and Josh's Edmonton wedding. The entire day was simply spectacular in ways we never expected it to be. Their families, and their friends were an incredibly fun group to be around, and we love to see Josh's eyes always on Mallory, even when she wasn't looking and might not have noticed he was watching her. They have this crazy sweet love for each other, one that is full of a strong appreciation for what they each bring to their relationship.
We had been looking forward to their wedding ever since we met them last November for their engagement pictures in Fort McMurray and instantly fell in love with them. Mallory and Josh are two of the sweetest people we have ever met.
The smoke from the forest fires seemed to follow us everywhere this summer, and their wedding was no exception. But we found that the sun breaking through the smoke created a beautiful and magical pink glow even through the hotel room window as they were getting ready.
Their ceremony was held at The Salvation Army Edmonton Temple which is a location that they hold close to their hearts as Mallory and her family work for the Salvation Army in Fort McMurray. After their ceremony we headed to a beautiful old covered bridge for family portraits and a few quick pictures of the two newly weds.
Mallory and Josh's reception was held at the Northern Bear Golf Course and their hall was so beautifully decorated. We love how they added a bit of a twist to their reception and between each speech, they would have one dance on the dance floor, which not only kept us on our toes but keep the guest entertained as well.
These two were destined to be with each other and the entire day had a magical energy watching them come together!
