As we come to the end of August it is finally Kristian & Hannah’s big day, a day that we have been looking forward to all year.  When we first met them, we knew instantly that we wanted to photograph their wedding. Kristian and Hannah have the type of love that is so infectious, and the way that Kristian looks at Hannah when she talks is straight out of a romance movie.

Kristian was the most involved groom we have met; he took over planning the majority of the wedding while Hannah was busy running their business. He picked out Solara for Hannah to get ready at because of the glorious mountain views. Kristian got ready with his family at a campground where they all had brought their campers to for the week.

Kristian & Hannah chose to have a first look together at the Canmore Engine Bridge. We love these private moments together on wedding days as they give the couple a special time together in a more private setting before being surrounded by family and friends.

As a local photographer, we are so blessed to live so close to the mountains and be able to capture spectacular ceremonies with incredible views. Kristian & Hannah’s wedding ceremony was held at the Canmore Ranch surrounded by peaks in every direction. During their ceremony they did a rose ceremony and presented their moms with roses to represent their love for them.

Their evening started by heading inside for their wedding reception in the charming Cornerstone Theater in Canmore.  There was not a dry eye in the house during the speeches or first dances. To end our night with them we headed outside for a few pictures in front of their beautiful venue in the evening.

Kristian & Hannah’s mountain wedding was one for the books and we can’t thank them enough for having us be part of it!
