Scott and Sandra were absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding. We met with them in October based on a friend's recommendation and by the time we were married in August, they felt like our close friends. They made us feel comfortable right from our first meeting and assured us that we could have beautiful wedding photos if we went with them. I've only seen 10 of our photos so far, but they are so beautiful that I can hardly wait to see the rest!
For our engagement shoot, they braved -40 degrees in the mountains and found us indoor shooting locations for when we got cold.
For our wedding, they showed us their secret spots in Canmore, they fed us snacks when we were hungry, and they sewed my new husband's button back on his suit! Talk about above and beyond!!!
I knew that our wedding photographs were somewhere I was willing to spend my money, and we got incredible value from Scott and Sandra. We had a big wedding and when it comes to a big wedding there is nothing that really prepares you for the emotional roller coaster your about to endure and experience all in one day. I sit and chuckle as I think of my memories of the day; Scott and Sandra were literally the invisible ninja's taking snaps. I remember moments where I felt so overwhelmed and I could feel panic starting to settle in and all of a sudden there was Sandra out of nowhere, standing right by my side with some water for me, asking me what I needed and if I was alright. As soon as I realized she was there I instantly started to feel at ease and relaxed.
We had only met Scott and Sandra once before our big day and they were so personable and so comfortable to be around. They went above and beyond; capturing every moment no matter how small or big. They were very professional and well organized and creative. They made it a very memorable and a heartfelt experience for us and one that we will never forget, “Campbell’s soup”😉. We are forever grateful that they were there for us on our special day. They are an extremely talented team and I am still captivated and astonished at the sneak peak. I cannot wait to see more!

This review is love overdue, but even two years after my wedding, I am still in love with my wedding photos. These photos not only conjure a memory, but it brings to life the expressed feelings and emotions that are too often missed or forgotten. Walker photography was amazing to work with. From being super open and friendly from our first visit with them we knew we had to have them photograph our big day! It was amazing to instantly feel that friendship connection with them when we had our first chat about what we wanted and were looking for in photography, and to know they would be able to handle our big wedding party was also a huge sigh of relief. If we had any questions they were very easy to get in contact with to ask and were very quick to respond to any emails we had!
When our wedding day finally arrived, Sandra was at my parents before I had my morning coffee! She was already at it taking photographs and getting to know the girls, and talking to everyone! It was great to have her just blend it and be able to take so many photos of everyone getting ready! Throughout the day we didn't even notice them, they were so professional and made every photo we took with them so enjoyable!
Our guests were constantly saying how great they were to watch while they took pictures during the dance, and the way they were taking photograph's was so unique! We couldn't be happier with our photo's, and will be enjoying them for years to come!

It all started in a coffee shop in Airdrie, where the Walker’s met with us to casually look through their portfolio. From the beginning, they were very friendly and enthusiastic, and this fit well with our personalities. We had great conversations about how our wedding might look, and the style of photography we were looking for. We were very comforted in knowing how dedicated both of them were to their work.
The next time we met with Scott and Sandra was in Canmore for our Engagement photos. The two had kept constant communication with us, and researched and explored many locations, in order to find the most picturesque scenery. While there, Sandra and Scott experimented with a variety of different angles and views, and sometimes we even lost Scott because he was like a ninja in the woods. The results in the end were completely breathtaking, and we had a day full of laughter and fun!
Then came our big day. Yejin and I were absolutely thrilled to have Scott and Sandra capturing our wedding memories! Our day started at our hotel room, then we traveled to many different locations including our ceremony at tunnel mountain, Two Jack Lake, various downtown Banff destinations, and back to the Banff Springs.
On a side note, I just want to say how caring Sandra and Scott are as well. They really went above and beyond what was expected. Even specific photos with certain people might have been forgotten, if not for the two considering all angles. As we sit here looking back through our photos, we are astonished at how well the story of our day was told. We are very grateful to have had such an amazing couple take part in our special day, and they have given us everlasting memories!
After all that is said, words still cannot describe how happy we are thanks to you both!

We were a nontraditional wedding in several ways: a "mature", "plus-size" :) couple eloping to a place we had never been to before in Canada from the US completely by ourselves. While surfing the internet for something like "wedding photographers Canadian Rockies", we stumbled upon the Walkers' website and were blown away by their work! We loved their use of lighting and especially loved their creativity in honoring the natural beauty of the area, since that was the main reason we wanted to get married there!
We contacted them and they were friendly and kind and quite generous with their time in Skyping with us and answering questions and even helped us determine our final wedding site (Moraine Lake).
On our wedding day, they were prepared and professional but still kind and solicitous and aiming to please. They were constantly in motion but managed to be unobtrusive at the same time.
Our photos are simply stunning! We were surprised at some of the shots because we didn't even know they had been in a position to get them. They captured the incredible beauty of the surroundings but also captured incredibly beautiful moments between us. We could not be happier with our photos and feel privileged to have had our special day documented by such artistic and talented photographers.

There is no words to describe Sandra and Scott on what amazing people they are. They capture the moments and freeze it in a photo for us to remember for years to come. We had the pleasure to have photos taken for my nieces 1 year cake smash session. We were welcomed into their home studio with comfort, love, joys and smile. I have no words to express how outgoing and comfortable we are around them.
They did such an amazing job on my niece Olivia's cake smash, it turned out awesome as usual. So patient with the little one captured such good moments whether it was laughter, curiosity or tears coming from my niece. Someone we thought at the start for the first time thinking just someone who is taking our photos have become friends. My family are so pleased with the photos, Sandra was great at capturing all the moments we are so grateful, you quickly can get comfortable in a conversation with them. That's what makes them such great photographers. Their caring and awesome personality shines through all the time and during the photo session we can be silly and joke around! Oh man! If you are reading this review as a newly engaged couple, can I PLEASE give you one piece of wedding advice?!? BOOK THE WALKERS! You cannot and will not find a better team of photographers.
I don't even know where to start with the praise for this fantastic husband and wife team: the crazy natural talent, the thirst to gain skill and knowledge, the ninja skills (my dad asked me days after the wedding if I noticed Sandra laying on the floor taking shots during our vows, I never saw her!), the willingness to go above & beyond or their awesome personalities! Your photographers are people who will be around you ALL DAY on "the best day ever", you want at the very least to be able to tolerate them... With Sandra & Scott, it is well beyond tolerance, we loved hanging out with them! Our engagement session was one of the most fun, least stressful days we had during wedding planning. Even a few members of our wedding party said things like "I want to be friends with your photographers! They are so fun!"
Our photos are unreal. Of course I am a little biased, but they truly are the most awesome photos I've ever seen. They are great at both capturing the moments as they happen, and scripting people into staged shots. They see scenes I could never have imagined.
It comes down to two incredible people. Trust me, you want to hire these guys for your wedding.
